I have been working as a lawyer in Erfurt since 1995, and I have been a partner in Habel Böhm & Partner in Erfurt since 1998.  I studied in Berlin and received my practical training in legal work in Münster. During this time I also spent time in the USA.

From the very beginning I have specialized in the fields of construction defects and architect law as well as IT law. For the latter, my doctorate in telecommunications law came in very useful.

Providing building contractors with expert advice throughout the entire cycle of a building project is, above all, at the centre of my legal activities, which range from contract counselling through regular counselling services during the construction work to the enforcement and securing of claims for remuneration or claims based on defects.  In the field of IT law, a number of individually-owned firms are among our clients. To them, the preparation of the general terms and conditions of business or the drawing up of contracts is of legal importance. Of course we also offer users counselling in this field.

is the guiding principle of my work as a lawyer representing the interests of our clients.

In addition to our own further professional training we offer our clients regular seminars that I conduct in our office as a value added benefit. Furthermore, I regularly give lectures on the subjects of building and IT law for other organizations.
