„Don‘t create problems, solve them“,

has been my maxim since I started practising law in Frankfurt am Main in 1979. Before, I worked as a university assistant and at the Institute of International Credit Law in Mainz where I did my doctorate in English trade law.

During my time in Frankfurt I had been employed as an in-house lawyer in the chemical industry for nine years. In addition to matters relating to company and group law, the focus of my work was above all on the foundation and support of international joint ventures, especially in the Asian region but also in Europe, the USA and Brazil.

Since the law firm was set up in Erfurt in 1991, I have been primarily counselling local companies on issues of economic law. My fields of activity include counselling on company law, representation in disputes between partners or shareholders, and international contract and trade law, the latter ranging from drawing up contracts through to the representation of interests before courts or in arbitration proceedings before the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
